Homemade Chorizo

Enjoy bold, authentic chorizo flavor in minutes with Hess Street Foods Chorizo Paste. Perfect for tacos, burritos, soups, and more!

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz Hess Street Foods Chorizo Paste
  • ½ lb ground pork
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (optional)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Mix the Chorizo:

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground pork and ground beef.
  • Add 4 oz of Hess Street Foods Chorizo Paste and mix with your hands until fully incorporated.

2️⃣ Store or Cook:

  • At this point, you can package and freeze the chorizo for future use—it keeps for months!
  • To cook immediately, heat a skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tbsp of vegetable oil (optional).

3️⃣ Cook the Chorizo:

  • Add the chorizo mixture to the skillet.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon or spatula, until browned and fully cooked.

4️⃣ Enjoy!

  • Use your homemade chorizo in tacos, breakfast burritos, soups, or any dish that needs a rich, smoky kick.
