Homemade Chorizo

Ingredients:

4 oz Hess Street Foods Chorizo Seasoning Concentrate

½ lb ground pork

½ lb ground beef

1 tbsp vegetable oil (optional)

How to do it:

Add the ground pork and ground beef (or other ground meats) to a large bowl.

Add 4 oz of Hess Street Foods Chorizo Seasoning Concentrate.

Mix with your hands until it is well combined and evenly distributed.

At this point, you can package and freeze it (it will last months in the freezer), or you can cook with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chorizo mixture and cook it, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon or spatula. Takes 8-10 minutes to brown.

You can now make chorizo tacos, breakfast burritos, or add it to your soups.
