Ingredients:

  • 1 box H-E-B Deluxe Mac & Cheese Dinner
  • 1/2 jar Abuela's Original Chorizo Paste
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, pork, or turkey)
  • 2–3 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • 1/4 white onion, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chorizo: In a bowl, mix 1/2 jar of Abuela’s Original Chorizo Paste with 1 lb of ground meat until well combined.
  2. Cook the Chorizo: Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the chorizo mixture until browned and slightly crisp. Set aside.
  3. Cook the Mac & Cheese: Bring a saucepan of water to a boil and cook the H-E-B Deluxe Mac & Cheeseaccording to the package instructions. Drain the water.
