As a fan of the chorizo version I was unsure of what to expect with the verde version but upon reviewing the ingredients I knew exactly what to pair it with: chicken breast! Shredded chicken breast and half the jar with a bag of guarnición vegetables from HEB makes the best shredded chicken dish that can be used to make tacos, burritos, or enchiladas. We loved the flavor and it’s so versatile. I can easily see adding it to pork as well. Delicioso! Thank you, Hess Foods for making my husband believe I’m an excellent cook. 😉
